The weather started cloudy but got better in the day. The ride started at the Witham Town Hall with the News papers and the Mayor presenting me with an XL 'T' shirt ?, a certificate with my name spelt wrong and a donation. The best part was going to the nursing home where mum worked, I had my photo taken with all the nurses and felt great about being with them... I continued on my journey and popped in to see another friend - Tony (A.D.W) The sky was nearly completly cloudless, the temperature was going up and I was having to drink a lot to keep cool... The roads from the M1 J13 to Milton Keynes was so bad I was cursing the MK council... |
